V Glow 5M E-Match Electronic Igniters
The V Glow VGI-4 is a 5-metre electronic igniter (e-match) with glow-in-the-dark wire — shine a torch on it and it glows bright green, making setup and clean-up safe and simple in the dark. Every igniter head is tested before production and every single igniter is tested again before packing. CE certified. Item code: IGN050. NEC: 0.05g. Min. safety distance: 5m. Age restriction: 18+.
5 Metres of Glow-in-the-Dark Firing Wire
The V Glow VGI-4 gives you five full metres between operator and firework — and unlike standard e-matches, you can actually see the wire in the dark. Shine a torch on it and the wire energises to a bright green glow, letting you route each igniter cleanly during setup and recover every last wire once the display is over. No hunting around in the grass, no trip hazards, no loose wires left on site.
The extra 5M length makes this the preferred choice for larger compound fireworks and F3 pieces where maximum standoff distance matters.
Tested Twice — Every Single One
Every V Glow igniter head is tested before production, and every individual igniter is tested again before packing. That double quality control process is built into the manufacturing — not a random sample check, but 100% testing across the batch. Full igniter resistance by length: 2M = 1.45 ±0.2Ω | 3M = 1.7 ±0.2Ω | 5M = 2.3 ±0.2Ω. Individual bridgewire resistance is maintained at ≤1.2 ohms to ensure consistent, uniform ignition speed across every igniter in a series circuit.

Safe Firing Notes
Use a maximum of 5 igniters in series (2A–150ms). Handle without power connection only. Check all connections before connecting to your firing system. A proper firing system with key lockout is required to initiate these devices. For full guidance see our fireworks safety advice.
