Selection Boxes

Firework selection boxes are the easiest way to put on a great display without the hassle of choosing every item individually. At Fireworks Shop, we've been helping customers across the UK find the perfect box for over 20 years — whether you're after a compact garden pack for a small family gathering or a large box that delivers a full 20-minute show. Browse our range below or call us on 01772 877860 for personal advice.

What is a Firework Selection Box?

A firework selection box is a pre-packaged collection of fireworks designed to give you a complete, balanced display straight out of the box. Most boxes contain a mix of firework types — typically cakes or barrages, fountains, rockets and sparklers — chosen to work well together and give you variety of colour, effect and height. Rather than spending time picking individual products, you simply choose a box that suits your budget and garden size and everything you need is included.

Which Selection Box is Right for Me?

The right selection box depends on three things — your garden size, your budget, and the occasion. For a standard back garden with an 8-metre safety distance, an F2-rated box is your safest bet. These are designed specifically for residential use and contain quieter, lower-trajectory effects that work well in confined spaces. For larger gardens or open spaces, F3-rated boxes deliver bigger, more powerful effects with greater height and noise. If you're not sure which category suits your space, give us a call on 01772 877860 and we'll point you in the right direction.

Selection Boxes for Every Budget

Our selection box range starts from just £9.99 — perfect for smaller gatherings or as a gift — and goes up to premium boxes designed to deliver a full professional-grade display. Mid-range boxes in the £50–£100 bracket are our most popular — they strike the best balance of variety, duration and value. If you're buying for a larger event such as a wedding, bonfire night party or New Year's Eve celebration, our bigger boxes give you everything you need for a show that will impress.

F2 vs F3 Selection Boxes — What's the Difference?

F2 fireworks require a minimum 8-metre safety distance and are classified for use in average-sized gardens. F3 fireworks require a 25-metre safety distance and are intended for larger open spaces. Our selection boxes are rated either F2 or F3 — check the individual product page to confirm the category and safety distance before buying. Full fireworks safety guidance is available on our fireworks safety advice page.

What is the difference between a selection box and a display pack?

    1. Wayne Richardson answers 9 Jun 2026

A selection box contains a mix of individual fireworks for you to fire in your own order. A display pack is designed to be fired as a complete structured show, often with a suggested running order for a more professional finish.
